Typically Mediterranean wild onions which contain "muscarine" as an active ingredient, a substance with a bitter taste, effective for restoring intestinal balance. The fullness of their flavor makes them an excellent accompaniment for meats. They are of great effect served as a snack, together with bread, cheese and cured meats.
